Mr. de la Roza is an entrepreneurially minded CEO with a proven record of excellence. He has exited multiple companies to publicly traded organizations. He was SVP, Innovation & Patient Solutions at Vocera (NYSE:VCRA) at the time of their acquisition by Fortune 500 company Stryker (NYSE:SYK) in 2022. Mr. de la Roza was responsible for providing executive oversight for a portfolio of solutions focused on creating improved hospital experiences for patients and families. Passionate about tech entrepreneurship and building team culture, Mr. de la Roza is driven by the discovery of new, innovative products and services that improve the lives of people. He has built his career by creating an environment of loyal, competitive and hard working teams collectively exceeding goals. Mr. de la Roza was selected as one of Orlando Business Journal’s 2021 Power Players for his work as a “Disrupter.”
Formerly as CEO and Co-Founder of EASE Applications, Mr. de la Roza successfully started and scaled a SaaS company from inception to allows families to receive text, photo and video updates on the status of loved ones in a safe, secure and convenient way. During his tenure as CEO, Mr. de la Roza was a recipient of the “Gator 100 Award” by the University of Florida, honoring the fastest growing Gator lead companies in 2020. Mr. de la Roza served as CEO from inception until the company’s acquisition by Vocera Communications (NYSE: VCRA) in 2020. As part of the Vocera Executive Leadership Team, he continued to provide oversight throughout all areas of the business and more than doubled his staff. His role included strategic business growth, customer success, and innovation.
Mr. de la Roza formerly served as an Executive Director for AdventHealth, one of the largest hospital systems in the U.S. During his role with AdventHealth, de la Roza supervised a 54,000 square foot medical innovation and education institution that trained over 20,000 clinicians per year. Additionally, de la Roza was responsible for the overarching digital marketing strategy for the health system. In addition to experience with business development, operations, healthcare, product development and digital marketing, de la Roza also has an extensive background in residential and commercial real estate sales. During his tenure, he led the sales and marketing efforts for various major developments in Orlando, FL.
Mr. de la Roza earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Management from the University of Florida and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
